Jim founded The National Farm Research Unit in 1994, which was sold to Map of Ag in 2016. Jim is an experienced marketing strategist with a special interest in market segmentation of farmers and the drivers of farmer behaviour, as the author of Types & Traits. Having worked with most of the R & D Manufacturers and Own Equipment Manufacturers over the last 30 years, he has a wide-ranging knowledge of the agricultural supply industry.

Felipe Harrison

Felipe is a farm manager from Argentina, who went on to train as a data scientist.  He teaches analytics at Universad Austral, Rosario. He has unique knowledge of large-scale farming in South America but is now based permanently at our London offices.

Clive is a farmer and Nuffield scholar, who has spent many years working at the cutting edge of precision farming and soil science through the business he founded, Precision Decisions.  He has travelled extensively around the world as an ambassador for DTI.

Joe Walters

Joe has a BSc in Geography and Spanish from University of Exeter and is currently studying for a Masters in Geographic Data Science at Birkbeck University. He has worked in market research in agriculture in the UK and Argentina, speaking both English and Spanish.  He has recently been seconded to Rothamsted to work on field observations for ground-truthing remote sensing applications.

After completing a degree in Physics and BSc M.Eng at University of Durham, Ed spent 16 years with Oracle (global leader in data integration) before joining Map of Ag in 2013 to lead their geospatial data interpolation and integration for 6 years.

Mike has a PhD in Developmental Robotics and Artificial Intelligence from Aberystwyth University. Prior to joining AgAnalyst Mike developed a number of computer vision and data analysis tools for reducing CO2 output and material waste from industrial processes.
